Strengthening civil society in Armenia. Micro-grant program
At the end of the project “Strengthening Civil Society in Armenia” (CSRA) conducted throughout Armenia the launch of a call for projects was announced aimed at the defense and promotion of human rights, for organizations that have participated in CSRA trainings. The results of the call were officially announced in June 2015.
We are pleased to note that, it is quite rare, but for this call all 5 selected projects submitted by NGOs work in the regions! Here they are:
“Summer School on Democracy”, NGO ” “Rainbow”, Kapan (Syunik region)
“My community in my own eyes”, NGO “Community artery” of Vardenik village (Gegharkounik region)
“Law Camp”, non-profit association “Complete Life“, Stepanavan (Lori region)
“Active rest”, NGO “Shushan”, Yeghegnadzor (region of Vayots dzor)
“Healthy Childhood, Strong Community Leader“, Artsvaberd Community Initiative (Tavush Region)
The kick-off of their implementation was given by the signing of grant agreements with the beneficiary structures. Most of the funded projects have already yielded results.
